Lockheed
L-749 N608AS started out with the USAF in 1948 as a VC-121B until 1968. She was
then used as a freighter for the next 20 years. She was scavenged for parts
and broken-up in 2001. She was magnificant! Only a handful of Connies
grace
the skies anymore!!!
