This Convair was originally delivered to American Airlines as NC94227 on 31
Mar 48 as the Flagship "Toronto"; Central Airlines purchased
it on 17 May 62 and registered it as N74854; It was converted to a Convair
600 in Nov 66; It went on to serve with Frontier Airlines, Trans Texas
Airways and Wright Airlines until Aug 89; It was scrapped in Tucson, AZ
in 1993!
