This Convair was originally delivered to American Airlines
on 22 Sep 48 as the Flagship "El Paso"; it was later sold to Trans Texas
Airways on 20 Mar 61 and operated as a Convair 240 until Jul 67 when it
was converted to a Convair 600; Texas Int'l continued to operate it until
Feb 78 and sold it to Bar Harbor Airlines; This Convair continued service
until May 89; It was scrapped in 1990!
